MeetFresh’s is a Taiwanese dessert restaurant famous for its taro delights. Serving with combinations of all types of toppings and bases, there are unlimited possibilities of taste and texture to your choice. Based on this idea, we design their new flagship store in Shanghai, China with the concept of expanding the food textures from your mouth to an immersive experience of your whole body and vision.

We use the soft purple color from the taro and the green from the ingredient of grass jelly to compose our space and incorporate lots of custom-made furniture and textiles that simulate the chewiness of taro balls and the softness of tofu pudding. The store has several seating arrangement varieties to fit the need of all groups of customers and scenarios, which each seating area has its own theme representing one component in the dessert.
